Got to save those rocks, know why? Soon – we will be waiting for our crops to grow and find ourselves with flower seeds and slips from plants that we want to grow. We need the rocks to gently cover the holes in the bottoms of the pots so water can drain but not just leak right through. Whenever I get down on my little knee pad and start to move the dirt around, I collect the rocks and put them in a pot (on the left) — and when I need them I use them like in the picture on the right, cover the hole.
